To support a quieter setting and a more comfortable experience, appointments are intentionally grouped when scheduling allows. Availability may vary, and scheduling is coordinated based on staffing and suitability at the time of booking.

Tolerance-Based Grooming
All cat grooming at Rokos is tolerance-based. This means:
– Services may be limited to what the cat allows on the day of grooming
-Completion of a full groom is not guaranteed
– Comfort is prioritized over cosmetic perfection
If a cat becomes overly stressed, services may be modified, paused, or stopped.
Veterinary Guidance
Grooming services at Rokos are provided within a professional grooming setting and scope.
For some cats — including seniors, cats with reduced tolerance, or cats who may benefit from additional support — grooming is performed with consideration of the cat’s veterinarian’s guidance regarding suitability and tolerance.
Rokos does not sedate cats or prescribe medication. If veterinarian-directed medication is recommended to support tolerance during grooming, it must be discussed with and prescribed by the cat’s veterinarian.
Cats receiving medication for grooming must have an established veterinarian available.
Suitability & Referrals
If we determine that grooming cannot be safely or comfortably supported within our facility, we may recommend a more appropriate setting. This decision is always made in the best interest of the cat.
